Denis Hysenbelli

HEAD BOXING COACH

Experience and Qualifications

About Me

I always enjoyed playing a variety of sports, however, it was only when I turned thirteen years of age – that boxing became a major part of my life.

The sport provided the foundations in shaping the person I am now, as it taught me three very simple yet important things; these being: respect for others, manners and patience.

I feel that I was lucky to have the boxing coach that I did as a youngster, as he was a fantastic role model. He left me with a strong ambition to guide other young people, in the same way that he did for me. As a coach today, I focus primarily on technique. My aim is to produce well grounded – dignified champions. I always aim to be an excellent “role model” to young people too… guiding them to the correct path.

Proudest Moments / Boxing Achievements:
My proudest moment came from becoming Three times Albanian champion, where I was rewarded with travelling around Europe – representing my country in two European championships. Here, I gained a Bronze medal, and also a Gold medal in the Balkan’s Olympics.
