Denis Hysenbelli

HEAD BOXING COACH

Experience and Qualifications

About Me

I always enjoyed playing a variety of sports, however, it was only when I turned thirteen years of age – that boxing became a major part of my life.

The sport provided the foundations in shaping the person I am now, as it taught me three very simple yet important things; these being: respect for others, manners and patience.

I feel that I was lucky to have the boxing coach that I did as a youngster, as he was a fantastic role model. He left me with a strong ambition to guide other young people, in the same way that he did for me. As a coach today, I focus primarily on technique. My aim is to produce well grounded – dignified champions. I always aim to be an excellent “role model” to young people too… guiding them to the correct path.

Proudest Moments / Boxing Achievements:
My proudest moment came from becoming Three times Albanian champion, where I was rewarded with travelling around Europe – representing my country in two European championships. Here, I gained a Bronze medal, and also a Gold medal in the Balkan’s Olympics.

About Me

I started training Muay Thai in 2010 under the legendary Parnpetch Rirom here at OMAA, since then I’ve had the honour of being trained by champions, with champions which enabled me to fight
against champions and ultimately achieve my dream of becoming a top 10 UK ranked Muay Thai fighter. I’ve spent over half a year training in Thailand at world renowned gyms like Sitmonchai Gym,
Sasiprapa Gym, Sinbi Muay Thai and more. I have over 8 years experience in coaching, helping others fight and perform all across the UK and in Thailand. I discovered very early on that Muay Thai
really is for everyone. Along my journey I have made some lifelong friendships with people I’ve travelled far and wide with. Muay Thai led me to learn so much about personal growth and other cultures as culture, moral and respect are deeply rooted within the sport. I am now a dedicated coach, offering performance training programmes that help people lose, maintain or gain weight
while performance stays at its best.
